What is baby girl in French?

Hi Eldra,

You would have to say-

bébé fille ou (bébé garçon)

as petite fille can mean 'grand-daughter' or small girl.

But the noun bébé is masculine only.

The baby is «le bébé» - the noun «bébé» is masculine but doesn't tell you the gender of the baby; 'the baby boy' is «le petit garçon»; 'the baby girl' is «la petite fille»
