Hi! I got this question wrong: “ Elle a manqué le bus, donc elle doit___”.
I answered “aller à pied,” because we were contrasting two means of transportation. The correct answer was “marcher.”
Instinct says both are fine. Am I wrong?

Patricia,
“ aller à pied “ calls for a destination. If the destination was previously known to the listener/reader, you could say ‘ … donc elle doit y aller à pied ‘
From the lesson
“ Aller à pied (literally going by foot) is used when walking is contrasted with another means of transport - walking instead of driving for example - and thedestination you're getting to is always mentioned (like with aller used on its own) “
