More complex numbers

Are there any lessons about how to read longer numbers, e.g. 4,500,000? Or years, like 1959? I feel like I've picked up how to read years from listening to podcasts, but it would be nice to be quizzed on them, and I don't how to read longer numbers.

If these already exist, consider adding links to them from this lesson.

Thank you!

Bonjour Andrew,

You might find this lesson on dates useful if you have not seen it already.

Expressing dates in French

Also, here is a gapfill exercise with large numbers -

I have passed on your comment to the French team, as I believe numbers are super important and super difficult when learning a language.

Hope these help!

Yes, I agree with you Andrew!

I’ve also found this link from Lawless useful on the use of Roman numerals in French (after being dinged more than once in Kwiziq dictations for writing centuries incorrectly). It’s not a topic covered by Kwiziq, I think.   https://www.lawlessfrench.com/vocabulary/roman-numerals/
