peur du vide vs le vertige

So in an earlier exercise, "I love swimming," you had a possible answer for fear of heights as "peur du vide" but not in this one.  Is there a reason why?

Hi Isabel,

The expressions,

avoir le vertige

and

avoir peur du vide

mean

to have vertigo /to be afraid of heights

Just a different way to describe the same feeling.

Bonne Continuation!
