Pronunciation of words

Hi,

I was wondering with the pronunciation of the days of the week am I right that the J sounds like a Z in the audio? Do all J's have that same sound?

Thanks

Nicole

Bonjour Nicole.

The French letter - j doesn't sound like a -z which is too harsh.

The French letter -j is also pronounced differently than the English letter -j.

In French, it is pronounced like the English "zh" sound, as in the word "vision". This sound is made by placing the tip of your tongue behind your top teeth and making a buzzing sound.

I hope this helps!
