Replacing a plural direct object plus verb

This was the example for plurals. Would the correct answer not be: Nous y pensons a faire? (Since the y is replacing nos devoirs).  Nous pensons à faire nos devoirs. Nous y pensons

Bonjour Jana,

With the verb "penser à", you will use the pronoun "y" to replace what follows if it refers to an action or something [thing/object/location]:

- ACTION:

Je pense à faires mes devoirs (= I am thinking about doing my homework) -> J'y pense

Je pense à aller au cinéma plus souvent (= I am thinking about going to the cinema more often)  -> J'y pense

or

- SOMETHING:

Je pense à mes vacances (= I think about my holidays) -> J'y pense

Je pense à ma voiture (= I am thinking about my car) -> J'y pense

Je pense à la maison de mes rêves (= I am thinking about my dream home) -> J'y pense

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !
