Spelling mistakes

Kwizik should be more tolerant of "minor" spelling mistakes. Writing "... cause de bruit" instead of " ... cause du bruit" does not mean I don't understand the grammar point!

Hi William,

Unfortunately, any system wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a typo and a grammatical error, but I get your frustration...

We should be able to given the options of overriding mistakes. These spelling mistakes don't normally occur when writing long hand. It seems to be that we are being tested on our keyboard abilities rather than grammar.

110% in favour of improving this area. At unpredictable times 'nearly correct' is used but far too often a minor typo or spelling error leads to an exaggerated decrease in Kwiziq assessment of knowledge level. I don't really need to do another 10 examples of 'avoir mal à' because my fingers don't do typing. I sent 2 'rant' complaints on this very issue recently. I guess with 'de v du', there is a chance a grammatical concept/construct has been missed, but with 'oreilles v orielles'? Especially when these spelling problems are sometimes induced by autoINcorrect coming into play. Seriously? I am sure the balance in this area could be improved - and the suggestion of an override is one possibility that would help. Like William, I am not a professional typist and am not trying to become one!
