Terrasses touristiques

Terrasses touristiques

I haven’t come across "une terrasse touristique" - is it a pavement café?

Also, it seems to me that there’s an extraneous consonant in the fourth sentence, between du and lieu: qui émane du … lieu lui-même

(Not sure how to flag technical issues in the listening exercises)

Bonjour Anne,

In French, "une terrasse touristique" refers to an outdoor seating area of a café/restaurant in a location popular with tourists.

Also, I listened to the recording and I cannot hear the extraneous consonant you mentioned.

For any technical issues about writing or listening exercises, you can get in touch directly with the Helpdesk or via the Q&A forum where Kwiziq's teachers will try to sort the issue or they'll transfer your question directly to the Helpdesk depending on the error report.

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Thank you Céline for your prompt response. What an incredible service you provide!

I’ve listened again and it sounds like "du glieu lui-même but maybe that’s just my old ears..
