The sentence to look up before attempting this exercise: 'not know which way to turn'.

Question

I result I got was 'je ne sais pas dans quelle direction tourner'.  However, the Kwizig translation is 'je ne sais plus où donner de la tête' in the excercise!  I'm confused?  Bobbie L

the phrase you found is a correct translation of the words, but doesn’t really capture the figurative context. 
You can’t always find these with search engines, online translators etc. AI searches specifically worded can help sometimes.  
In this case, for example, the reference below was found with a search asking for a translation in the figurative sense. 
Sometimes, it is more efficient to just do the exercise and learn from the answer given !
