Not sure how you could break it down.. it covers important distinctions which need to be compared.. but, I agree, a hard lesson.

The lesson starts with the "attendre" then to "s'attendre" then changes back "attendre" then changes again "s'attendre" then "attendre" and finally back to "s'attendre". I feel that this makes the lessons confusing. There needs to be a clear seperation between the two verbs, perhaps in two different lessons which is how I studied it.
