Richard, ‘Roland Garros’ is the name by which both the French Tennis Open and the stadium it is played at are officially known and referred to in France. They are named after an early French aviator.

Federer could have either ‘lost Roland Garros’, or ‘lost at Roland Garros’, depending on the French sentence given, but not ‘lost to Roland Garros’.
