Hi - question one of the Kwik Kwiz in the above lesson asks "Il les a tous lus" means... Why is the past participle of lire in the masculine plural? I tried to ask the question on the lesson itself, but the Ask button didn't work. Thanks Michael

Bonjour Michael,
Aurélie avait répondu à la même question que vous avez demandé et qui a daté au 10 novembre 2016. Voici sa réponse à Oleg:
Bonjour Oleg !

"Il les a tous luS" is actually correct, because it follows a (very annoying!) rule of agreement with the auxiliary "avoir".
You will agree the past participle with the direct object of the verb IF this one is placed BEFORE the verb... which happens when using direct object pronouns as in here.

I hope that's helpful!
À bientôt !

J'espère que vous en trouveriez très utile.
