Use of "y"

Use of "y"

In one lesson (about the use of non plus) there was an example "Il ne joue pas souvent au foot, et toi ? -Je n'y joue pas souvent non plus." Please add to the lesson a link to the lesson that explains this use of "y" (had expected "en") - I'm familiar with y being used to refer to a previously mentioned location but this was something else.

Bonjour Joakim,

En only replaces the French preposition de, y replaces à: Y can replace à + [thing/object/location] (French Adverbial Pronouns)
