HI Wladuszk,
Apart from the given translation ‘you are all human beings’ I suppose it means we are fallible, a mixture of good and bad...

Hi Cécile, thank you for the answer.
I now realize that I did not recognize the noun "beings" in "des êtres" - instead, I thought it was a verb which confused me a lot. I'm embarassed :)
