French Active Voice
The active voice is the most commonly used voice in both French and English. It indicates that a subject is performing the action of its verb. When you learn how to conjugate a verb, you are learning the active voice conjugations.
For example
| Présent | Nous étudions la voix. | We are studying voice. |
| Imparfait | Nous étudiions la voix. | We were studying voice. |
| Passé composé | Nous avons étudié la voix. | We studied voice. |
| Futur | Nous étudierons la voix. | We will study voice. |
| Subjonctif | Il est important que nous étudiions la voix. | It's important for us to study voice. |
