Every summer, my family and I used to spend our holidays [US: vacation] at my aunt Sylvie's house. She used to live five minutes from the beach, in a small village in the south of France. The beach was hidden behind a hill, so tourists didn't know of its existence! For my cousins and me, this beach became a deserted island. We collected seashells, we swam for hours, and at night, we pitched our tent next to the house and we dreamed of treasure maps... These were my favourite holidays!
