How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

Before, Gaspard was always in a bad mood. When he came out of his house in the morning, he walked quickly, with his head down, (while) jostling passers-by. At the office, he would avoid his colleagues who didn't like him much in return. But everything changed the day he met Lucile. Thanks to her kindness and (to her) joie de vivre, Gaspard became a new person. He started to smile at people whom he passed on the street, and he even bought croissants for the whole office! What an incredible transformation!

Clever stuff happening!
