In French, to express none or not one, or no [thing], you use ne ... aucun(e).

Look at these negative sentences:
The construction ne… aucun/aucune + [thing] means none or not one, or no [thing].
Note that aucun must agree in gender with the thing it refers to
BUT
aucun/aucune never agree in number (singular/plural): as they describe an absence of things, they're always singular
