Hi Ayça,
In my opinion, you would use the term 'marchand de journaux' for an establishment that sells newspapers, magazines, comics, etc. like a kiosk.
The term ' librairie' which is a book shop or a newsagent will sell both books and newspapers and items of stationery.
In the exercise, this is a shop and the owner is called 'le libraire' which didn't shock me in the slightest.
Hope this helps!
