'Dans tous les cas' - is 'en tout cas' acceptable instead?

Hi Peter,

There is a slight difference in meaning between 'dans tous les cas' ( either way) and 'en tout cas' ( at any rate, in any event).

 I feel 'dans tous les cas' is better suited here as it is clearly between the two choices given in the previous sentence.
