Hi Pamela, 

In French -

tomber amoureux de quelqu'un = to fall in love with somebody

So, 'dont' is correct, you could have said 'de qui'.

De qui/dont/duquel = of/about whom, of/about which - with prepositional verbs with "de" (French Relative Pronouns)
