Hi Mary,

The English gave you -

A thick layer of ice

so you could say-

Which is the best translation of the line in the exercise?  And how does the meaning change, if at all, if “épaisse” is before or after “couche”?

Mary K. asked:

épaisse couche de glace/couche de glace épaisse/couche épaisse de glace
