I’ll start again: If the sentence order is buying a yellow ruler (fem) and yellow pen (masc)—-sentence in that order—-why is the pen adj fem?

I got this wrong on the test, but the lesson doesn’t speak clearly to the answer the test wanted. I’m confused.

Hi Valerie, the adjective "jaune" is spelled the same for feminine and masculine nouns.

Ah, much better! I over-thought the question and forgot about those colors whose endings are the same regardless of gender. Merci beaucoup!
