The text says that she is not into paintings but that she loves (the art form which is ) sculpture, not that she loves sculpting (or to sculpt) as a hobby.
I don't see the problem with the English but we could ask Laura if you are not satisfied.
I love sculpture is fine. Sculpture being the noun. I love to sculpt would be the verbal form.
Nope I'm sorry still not correct. If used as a noun, it would be 'I love THE sculpture' but I agree with 'I love to sculpt', that was my error.
Agree with Cécile on this one. "I love sculpture" is correct for a general statement in English of appreciating the artwork of sculpting. "I love the sculpture(s)" is specific in English, and would refer to a particular piece(s) or a showing of sculptures.
Can't speak for possible regional differences, but maybe there are some ?
