If this read like that, "who" being the subject like homme (man), would that have made "ce qui" correct? In American English we are more likely to say "the man who" she is going to marry rather than "the man with whom" she is going to marry, even though both are correct.

Bonjour Wanda, 

I cannot find this exact example in the lesson but -

Voilà l'homme que j'aime ( Here is the man whom I love

Of course, 'whom' here is very formal, and we could have said in decreasing degrees of familiarity -

The man who I love

The man that I love

or simply 

The man I love

With your particular example -

Voici l'homme avec lequel elle va se marier Here is the man with whom she is going to be married
