In the following question the answer is given as 'plus d'argent que' having de before plus doesn't sound right to me, can someone explain please.
J'ai besoin de ________ l'année dernière pour produire l'exposition.
I need more money than last year to produce the exhibition.
"Avoir besoin de" is the standard expression.
Then we have the need for more money than the previous year --> Avoir besoin de plus de -- more of, just some more of; hence d'argent
