j'ai de chance

Hey! Why in the examples is it  "j'ai de chance" and not "J'ai de la chance"?

Hi Eve,

Only the negative examples use 'de chance' as in-

Je n'ai pas de chance

Elle n'a pas de chance

but

J'ai de la chance

Elle a de la chance

Take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson for further information -

Hope this helps!

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your suggestion, the lesson has now been adapted to avoid any confusion.

Bonne Continuation!

I agree. Both should have been correct.

Maybe that needs putting in the lesson.. having j'ai de la chance and nous n'avons pas de chance without explanation is a bit confusing.
