Comment dire "on my next birtuday I will be.." En septembre prochain j'aurai quarante ans

Bravo ! Indeed you can say "En septembre/mai/avril... prochain, j'aurai ... ans.". In a more general sense, you can also use "L'année prochaine, j'aurai ... ans." (next year...)
