J'aime bien vs. j'aime beaucoup

Question

What is the difference between "j'aime bien" and "j'aime beaucoup?"  I wrote "j'aime beaucoup toutes les couleurs," and "beaucoup" was marked incorrect. Thanks!

The English was -
I like all the colours 
so, 'j'aime beaucoup' is too strong.
The two possibilities given are -
J'aime or J'aime bien toutes les couleurs
but in the case of -
I love theme parks = J'adore/J'aime beaucoup les parcs d'attractions

Suggest that it is a matter of context.For example. Are you wanting to express in the sense of "de manière satisfaisante" bien, or in the sense of "intensément", beaucoup.
