Pas encore vs toujours pas and il faut que je vs il me faut

Can you say "je n'ai pas encore reçu" instead of "je n'ai toujours pas reçu"?

Also, can you say "il m'a fallu frapper à chaque porte"?

Bonjour G,

1. Encore / Toujours

Je n'ai pas encore reçu la paire de rideau = I have not yet received the pair of curtains

See the link here to one of our partners' site (2. (not) Yet): Encore vs Toujours

2. "il m'a fallu"

Yes, you could... although it would sound very formal. Also, there is a hint asking for "falloir que" ; Hence, "il m'a fallu..." would not be accepted.

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !
