Which spelling is correct "fraiches" or "fraîches"? Treatment in the exercise and the finished text is inconsistent.

both are correct with ‘ fraiche/s ‘ being the reformed spelling and ‘ fraîche/s ‘ still in common use.
Many words in French have 2 officially accepted spellings, as spelling reforms of 1990 are in use but there has not been universal adoption of them.
Words ‘ traditionally ‘ containing a circonflexe letter in them have mostly changed, although some have an obligatory circonflexe still.
