Why is Tes not correct?

Question

Why is Tes: which is yours in plural not correct? Why is it vos and would tes also be possible> I know they said to use vous in the hint, but it doesn't make sense as I feel the sentence is directed to one person telling her/him that her/his children (plural which is why tes) are not manageable. Would tes be correct if it was only directed to one person? And if it was directed to two persons then only vos would be correct right?

It is the only form of ‘ you ‘ if addressing more than one person. (There is no informal plural ‘you’  in French, only the informal singular version) From the question and answer, you cannot be sure whether one or both parents are being addressed, but you can be sure there is more than one child referred to. ( Note that this is also true of the English translation ).
