Aurélie Drouard

Aurélie is our resident French Expert. She has created most of the wonderful content you see on the site and is usually the person answering your tricky help questions. She comes from a small village near Chartres in Central France, country of cereal fields and not much else. She left (in a hurry) to study English at the world-famous Sorbonne in Paris, before leaving France in 2007 to experience the “London lifestyle” - and never looked back! She's worked as a professional French teacher, translator and linguist in the UK since.  She loves to share her love of languages and is a self-professed cinema and literature geek!

Laura K Lawless

Laura is Kwiziq's Language and Marketing Coordinator. Online educator since '99, Laura is passionate about language, travel, and cooking. She's American by birth and a permanent ex-pat by choice - freelancing made it possible for her to travel extensively and live in several countries before settling permanently in Guadeloupe. Laura is the author of Lawless French, Lawless Spanish, and other websites and books on French, Spanish, English, and vegetarianism. She spends most of her spare time reading, playing with food, and enjoying water sports.

How can you type accents on the writing challenge - the hold the letter down as on the KWIK quizes doesn't work. Also how can you reach the writing challenges through the dashboard as I never remember my password to sign in and it does not recognise me.

Because the challenges are on another site, the Kwiziq accent picker does not work - you have to use a solution such as the international keyboard: https://french.kwiziq.com/blog/best-way-type-french-accents-windows-linux/ You can't currently reach the challenges from the Dashboard, only through the links sent in the weekly email.

In some questions the program takes the answer I gave to the previous question and I can't change that. This has happened in 2 or 3 challenges before. Excuse mi English if I have mistakes Thank you

Sorry about that. This is an external tool so we can't do anything about that, it will be fixed once we're able to create the challenges on Kwiziq.
