When doing writing challenges I can't see how to add any accents. My normal methods of doing them on my keyboard with short cuts etc don't work, but neither does holding down the accented letter and waiting for a choice of accents to be offered, as happens within the normal exercises on this website.

I'm sorry to hear that!
The challenges are not currently supported by Kwiziq website, but by a third party, that's why Kwiziq's accent system doesn't apply there.
I myself use the shortcuts from the International Keyboard on Chrome, and they work fine.

This is the first time I've actually managed to complete one of the weekend exercises and am quite proud of myself !!
It took me around 3 hours with a rest in the middle. Despite this I'll do my best to do them every week .
