No more repeated errors

Our supersmart KwizBot just got even smarter! He’s very excited to announce a long-awaited improvement to his algorithm, making it more flexible in checking your free text answers. KwizBot will now mark your answer correct if you have accidentally included some of the question in the answer box – as long as it’s written in the right order.

Up until now, if you added some of the question text preceding and/or following the box, it would be marked wrong or partially wrong. But now …

Kwizbot would still prefer it if you answered precisely but he’s now much more forgiving on accidental repetition. This applies equally to answers that have minor typos (such as capitalisation or punctuation) that aren’t specifically relevant to the question being asked.

So head over to your Dashboard and take a kwiz!

An excellent improvement! Thank you!

I love lawlessfrench.com and french.kwiziq.com. I have made so much progress with them. The initial CFER assessment is brilliant and essential. You learn exactly your strengths and weaknesses. Although my assessment put me at Level B1, I had big gaps in knowledge and understanding at every level. The websites enabled me to fill those gaps and I enjoyed improving my performance at each level.

All that was missing was conversation. Although I live in France, I had little opportunity to speak French other than in a restaurant or at the supermarket. Two years ago I started a conversation group in my area for French and British to meet to practise our skills, whatever our level, in an informal and supportive atmosphere. We now meet twice a week for conversation and from time to time organise activities or visits to places of interest. Both websites and the group have enabled me to make several levels progress and have given me the confidence to speak French in most situations. Thank you Laura and all contributors to two inspirational French language websites.

Bonjour Beverly,

Wow, it's wonderful that you just went ahead and created your own group. I often suggest that to people who just can't find anything, but I know creating something like that is easier said than done. Bravo!
