In French, to say about the city you live in, you use the expression "habiter à" + [city].

How to express "to live in a city" in French

Look at these questions:

Informal/singular questions:
Où habites-tu ?Where do you live?

Tu habites où ?Where do you live?

Formal/plural questions:

Où habitez-vous ?Where do you live?

Vous habitez où ?Where do you live?

Note that there are different ways to ask a question in French.

Now look at these answers:

J'habite à Paris.I live in Paris.

J'habite Paris.I live in Paris.

J'habite à Londres.I live in London.

J'habite Orléans.I live in Orléans.

J'habite à Atlanta.I live in Atlanta.

To say that you live in a city in French, you can use the verb habiter (to live [somewhere]) as such:

J'habite à + [ville]

or

J'habite + [ville]
Note that je (= I) becomes j' in front of the mute h of habite.
