Why is he so ambivalent towards France? What is the explanation of his exile and attitude?
I found both le grand huit and une montagne russe and I always have trouble deciding which option to use (usually the "wrong" one! as in this case I used la montagne russe which was corrected to plural. The alternative option (the preferred response) le grand huit was not. Can someone explain?
Why is it "Elle a monté" instead of "Elle est montée"?
How do you say this in french:
'Last year, I went to Italy on holiday, with my family and we stayed at a hotel. We went to a beach and swam in the sea. We played in the sand, together, and built a large sandcastle. In the afternoons, we visited monuments and went to churches. For dinner, we always ate pizza and it was delicious. It was amazing!'
So you only use va/vont? And do you conjugate with the person or the object?
Eg la rose va a ma sœur - is it la rose or ma sœur that is triggering these use of va?
In the same way, how would you say the rose suits us?
question was write nine thirty so i put du matin and it was marked wrong, just nine thirty was correct. thought we were meant to specify. when i used 24 hour clock i get marked wrong.

Confused by the use of "Lui" in "je LUI ai fait faire sa valise" and "je LUI ai même bandé les yeux" as they both don't use "à"? Or am I mistaken?
