Ça coûte combien?
Have often heard that phrase. Is it wrong considering that question word is at the end? Colloquial perhaps?
This question relates to:French lesson "Asking questions in French with "qui/que/quoi/quand/où/comment/pourquoi/combien" (French Question Words)"

Bonjour Meghna,
This is the same case as in your previous question.
This form is not the inverted form, which here would be:
"Combien cela coûte-t-il ?"
Note that "ça" turns back to its more elegant form "cela" as this question form is itself more sophisticated.

Thank you. I think I get this now, the clarification on the part of inversion really helped. More tests on the subject and my scores will confirm.
Bonnes fêtes !
