Ils, elles forms?

I can’t find anything in this lesson or links about third person plural verbs. It would be useful to have examples of this as well as the situation of il/ elle + inversion for verbs ending -ter (which is mentioned in a question below). Am I right in thinking the inverted forms are eg achètent-ils and achète-t-il?

Bonjour Anne,

You are correct:

Achète-t-il des pommes ? = Is he buying apples?

Achètent-ils des pommes ? = Are they buying apples?

Mangent-ils des fruits ? = Do they eat fruits?

Attention : 

Court-il ? = Is he running?

 -> les questions énchangeant -sujet-verbe

The lesson you referred to focuses on inverted questions with il/elle/on forms as per the title indicates.
