Reposting a question asked by Mark several years ago:
The example above "Quel est le meilleur aspirateur?" implies that l'aspirateur est bon, correct? Why would this not be "bien", like the case of "Ma télé est bien" above? It's not food.

Hi Helena,
There is no difference between the tv and the hoover except for the gender.
Quel est le meilleur aspirateur ?----> Celui-ci est bien, c'est un bon aspirateur
Quelle est la meilleure télé ? ---> Celle-ci est bien, c'est une bonne télé
