the translation was ‘ two thousand euros ‘. HA wrote that he used ‘ milliards de ‘ which is incorrect. Grammatically correct, but not a correct translation.

HA, ‘ deux milliards de ‘ would be correct if it was ‘ 2 billion ‘. It seems you may have confused ‘ deux milliers de ‘ ( thousands ) and ‘ deux milliards de ‘ ( billions ) ?

Technically, it is not wrong, Harry, but we only used 'milliards de' for big projects, or what states do.
