Please can you explain why Tu is used before a vowel and not T'
This question relates to:French lesson "Using Tu and Vous to express three types of you in French (French Subject Pronouns)"

Hi Gloria,
You will hear-
'T'aimes ça?
'T'as faim?
in every day very informal speech (within a family setting) but normally the Tu would not be elided ...

Between friends definitely although a parent might use 'tu as faim' to a child to teach him/her to speak 'properly'.....

In French, all elisions occur with short words ending with the letter 'e', like te, me, je, se and so on. Only two exceptions are there la & si
