Resservir and se resservir
I don’t understand well the use and the difference in meaning of “resservir” and “se resservir “. Please , give me more examples and the explanation. Thanks a lot.
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate servir and other -VIR verbs in the present tense in French (Le Présent)"
Asked 6 years ago
Hi Truc Thanh,
The difference here is - who is serving whom?
Resservir means that someone is giving a second helping to someone else.
Se resservir means that you are giving yourself a second helping, no one else is involved in the action.
Hope this helps!
