Ready! Steady! Exams! This week, we’re getting into “exam mode” – as we know many of you dear Kwizzers are at this time of the year. Bon courage ! 🤗📝 For the majority of French students, their most memorable exam remains le Baccalauréat (or most commonly le Bac), which marks the end of le lycée (equivalent to high school) at the average age of 18. The exam session is split into 2: en première (i.e. penultimate year of lycée), you take the French written and oral exams, then the rest of your subjects the following year. The Philosophy exam usually kicks off the Bac exam session every year in early June, and it’s a national event: newspapers publish the exam questions, and politicians, journalists, and families eagerly debate them over dinner! To pass the Bac, you need an average grade of 10/20, but you can also aim for mentions (i.e. honours) at 12/20, 14/20, 16/20 and 18/20. ⭐🇫🇷 Alors, sans plus attendre, prepare your highlighters and post-its, and start reviewing all the resourceful French Kwiziq content we’ve selected for you! 📑☺️ A Bit of French with A&C Podcast Ep.10: Les ExamsConversation Podcast – C1 Level This week, join us for a very studious (or not!) episode of our podcast A Bit of French with A&C, where Céline and I reminisce about taking different exams between serious studying, pre-test stress and funny anecdotes 🤗 And remember that these awesome podcasts also feature 1 brand-new related fill-in-the-blank exercise 🤯 Bonne écoute à tous !
