In this “Qui est-ce ?” podcast series, Kwiziq’s own super detectives Aurélie and Céline will test your investigative skills as they give you clues (en français bien sûr !) to guess a famous Francophone personality. And to help you practise your listening skills, these podcasts will be accompanied by some useful vocab, grammar lessons, and interesting links to go further! Bonne enquête !

Welcome to the fourth episode of our podcast “Qui est-ce ?”! Once again, we (aka Céline and Aurélie) want to thank you for your contributions to the episode 3 comment section which definitely seemed a bit trickier. 🔠🔎 Your Investigative Vocabulary
Here’s some useful vocabulary featured in this podcast to help you conduct your investigation:
- à nouveau = once again
- quand même ! = still!
- un domaine d’investigation = an area of investigation
- s’attaquer à [quelque chose] = to take [something] on
- un indice = clue
- un calepin = a notepad
- une famille nombreuse = a large family (with many children)
- Ça fait beaucoup ! = it’s a lot!
- réduire = to reduce
- une voix = a voice
- une octave = an octave [eight notes interval in music]
- collaborer avec [quelqu’un] = to collaborate with, to work with [someone]
- en résidence = in residence
- ça se précise ! = we’re zeroing in/getting closer!
- le même que le mien = the same as mine
- et justement = and speaking of
- le contenu = content

She comes from a small village near Chartres in Central France, country of cereal fields and not much else.
