are de and des the same when it comes to plural denotation?for example, is combien de livres Y a-t-il dans votre sac the same as combien des livres Y a-t-til dans votre sac?

GrandAgain grand before or after the noun. Le grande homme I am told means the great man, one who is respected etc, whereas l' homme grand is the tall man. If we want to speficy that a person is tall do we have to place grand after the noun. thank you

Is it possible to reset one's score?As I move forward, I notice that I am getting good scores on things that I am likely to forget after a few weeks. When I practice them several times in a row, then my score gets higher and higher. If I feel that there are things that I ought to practice for longer, can I reset the score of them?

La liaison?The audio clips don't have a clear pattern when it comes to making a liaison between "suis" and the nationalities beginning with a vowel. It this an optional liaison? What would you recommend?

In the example "J'ai bu un tiers de la bouteille". The audio speaker is a woman and the word bottle is feminine-why use the masculine version tiers?Thank you.

Extra Words - Unnecessary?A sentence like "Tu as reçu une lettre qui est de ta cousine." seems a little wordy. Is it correct (or incorrect) to just say "Tu as reçu une lettre de ta cousine." ? Merci beaucoup!
