Subjunctive with 2 different subjectsIs it possible to use subjunctive to say things such as; J'ai peur que je sois stupide Ou Elle souhaite qu'elle ait eu rainson Or is it ONLY if there are two, distinctly different subjects?

J'ai passéI'm so confused. Why is it "J'ai passé un an en Espagne" but "J'ai passé la journée avec Martin"? Why is one talking about the duration while the other is not?

Le héros?I just realized that it's un héro but le héros. Is there a reason for that? Are there any other nouns that have different spellings for the same gender going from un to le? Thanks.

Can 'aussi que' be used to mean "(included) as well as"?An example from lesson on comparative adverbs: Je chante aussi bien que ma tante. I sing as well as my aunt. Here, aussi que means as well as. In English, we can also say 'there are sandwiches as well as a cake', in which 'as well as' implies 'included as well as'. Cheryl
