Why not ces temps-ci as well as ces jours-ci?

Pourquoi pas pluriel - avec leurs peaux dorées….

J’adore cet exercise parce qu’il m’a fait découvrir un film vraiment amusant, et à une réalisatrice très interessante. En fait, j'ai pris du temps sur les exercices de grammaire pour regarder le film et je pense que je vais le revoir. Je veux en parler avec mon tuteur en Tunisie demain. Merci pour cela. Thank you both for your explanations. I have read the lesson you refer to several times, as well as the relevant links, (and done the kwizes),  but I still get a little confused with this issue. I plan to review this subject regularly, as I have found by doing so I eventually achieve an understanding of subjects that at first are not clear to me. I am wondering if maybe the lesson could be expanded someway to include more exercise questions or if it could be broken up into several separate lessons? Perhaps "an/annee" could have its own lesson?

I do not understand why in the above sentence écrit (pp of écrire?) has an 'extra' e. I understand this only applies to être verbs + avoir if object preceeds verb?

When I was young... I use etais but to say he was promoted you don't say il etait promu but il a ete promu and I don't understand why you use this and not the imperfect. Please explain! I can't add accents on this so forgive me they are missing

Quels sont les legumes de soleil ? J'ai cherche partout, mais je n'ai pas trouve cette phrase. Tous les legumes ont besoin de soleil, donc je me demande si ces legumes sont des legumes d'ete, peut-etre ?

This was a fun exercise. I really enjoyed learning about la montee des marches and seeing the beautiful photographs of Cannes while researching the vocabulary.

My question refers to the "hotel de luxe". Since the "stars" are plural wouldn't one assume that they leave their "luxury hotels", (plural)? Which would be: "leurs hotels de luxe" ? Or, is the possessive here always expressed in the singular, "leur hotel de luxe"? 

Another question is about the use of the present tense in "j'admire". Would it be incorrect to say, "...que j'admirais depuis toujours"
