This was a fun exercise. I really enjoyed learning about la montee des marches and seeing the beautiful photographs of Cannes while researching the vocabulary.

My question refers to the "hotel de luxe". Since the "stars" are plural wouldn't one assume that they leave their "luxury hotels", (plural)? Which would be: "leurs hotels de luxe" ? Or, is the possessive here always expressed in the singular, "leur hotel de luxe"? 

Another question is about the use of the present tense in "j'admire". Would it be incorrect to say, "...que j'admirais depuis toujours"

First what's the use of this level test

'Mon frère qui habite en France.' I would assume it's wrong to use 'à qui' or 'auquel' in this context, but I don't know why? When is it most suitable to use 'qui'?

How do you use 'à quoi' et 'dont' compared to the other terms ? Merci

J'allais ecrire "de nombreux" mais j'ai change ma reponse a "beaucoup de". Ma question est tout simplement pourqoui pas "beaucoup de" ? Est-ce que la phrase "de nombreux" est meilleur dans ce cas ?

Good morning. Respectfully, French Canadian does not only mean Québécois.   It includes them and they are in fact a majority but we have many other French Canadians across beautiful country. Thank you. 

If 'en' suppose to put before feminine country name, then why we should to put before masculine noun 'en hiver'? Could someone help me in this case?

There was no mention that I remember during the Oscars that this film was a Franco-Belgian production.

The latter translation is correct yet the C1 Test marked it worng?
