Very interesting, but is it truly A2? The second to last paragraph has lots of passe simple in it (prit, fit, eut), which doesn't appear until B2 level.
In this sentence, "Cette-fois-là, je retins ma joie jusqu'à ce que je fus sûr", they did not use the subjunctive after jusqu'à ce que. Just wondering why...
This part of the lesson is really messing with my learning process. Please answer me this....In the example, "Tu manques à Lise", IS it or IS IT NOT "Lise misses you." ???
Why is the answer "We will make a cake in a bit" and not "We are going to make a cake in a bit"? I can't see a meaningful difference between the 2 options in English.
